Fabrication and Processing Capabilities

Our Santa Teresa team combines advanced equipment with skilled technicians to deliver consistent, high-precision results on every order. We offer a range of fabrication and processing capabilities designed to produce electrical components from aluminum and copper, including bus bars. Each capability can be tailored to your exact specifications.

Processing capabilities include:

  • First operational blanking: First-operation blanking involves cutting flat shapes from metal to produce blanks with precise dimensions and tight tolerances. These blanks serve as the foundation for more complex components with specific shapes and sizes.
  • Deburring: Deburring is performed as a finishing process to remove burrs and sharp edges from cut parts. This improves safety, enhances part quality, and ensures components are ready for assembly or further processing.
  • Bending: Bending services accommodate materials of various sizes and lengths to achieve customer-specified angles and geometries. This process supports accurate forming while maintaining material integrity and dimensional consistency.
  • Punching: Punching is a high-force fabrication process that uses a punch and die to create precise holes, cutouts, or perforations in metal. This method enables efficient production of consistent, repeatable features in electrical components.
  • Tapping: Tapping is a machining process that creates internal threads in pre-drilled holes, allowing fasteners such as screws and bolts to be securely installed directly into the part.
  • Countersink: Countersinking creates conical recesses in pre-drilled holes, allowing flat-head fasteners to sit flush with the surface. This results in a clean finish while supporting proper fit and function in electrical assemblies.

In addition to fabrication and processing, we offer services and programs tailored to the electrical industry, including custom kitting, inventory management, and quality inspection and testing – helping streamline production and simplify supply chain management.
